Ernst Gruene was a true Renaisance Man of the Victorian Era. Interested in all things natural, this room has the bare wood walls of the initial construction. Native American Indian Artifacts decorate the walls of this room, and a prominent bay window enhances the structure.
The furniture consists of a queen four poster bed, a day bed with two twins in wicker functions as a sofa, two comfy armchairs, a turtle topped antique table dating to the 1830’s, old trunks for your luggage, an armoir and a game table complete this room. Shutters, and lace Austrian shades cover the windows.
The adjacent bath is set up with separate bathing and grooming areas so more than one can get dressed at a time. This one is a favorite with many guests’! The basic rate is $150.00 with an additional charge of $25.00 per extra guest on the day bed.
