Hanna, born to Ernst and Antoinette after their arrival in Texas, was the middle child.  In her later years, she returned to care for her aging parents, and stayed in this room. This is the largest suite in the house. The walls in the first bed area are a deep purple, with a queen sized half tester iron and brass bed.  Two armchairs are at the foot of the bed.  Divided from the bedroom by twin pocket doors, the second room has another queen bed in it, along with the dressing table, and bathing area.  A shower big enough for two awaits, alongside the toilet closet.  An antique queen bed will accommodate one or two extra guests, a favorite with groups of ladies or families.  In the closet is a small refrigerator for wine or soft drinks as in all the rooms.  Special arrangements can be made for wine or champagne in any of the rooms.
